Taking BART to TransFair USA

There are two BART stations very close to the TransFair USA office:

12th Street Oakland City Center
19th Street Oakland

From San Francisco:
Take a Pittsburg/Bay Point or Richmond train. Exit at the 12th Street Oakland City Center stop. When you exit the station, head northwest on Broadway towards 13th St. The office will be on your right on Broadway between 15th and 16th. There is a semi-circular awning with a "1500" above the entrance.

From Berkeley:
Take a Millbrae or Fremont train. Exit at the 19th Street, head south on Broadway towards 17th Street. The TransFair office will be on your left on Broadway between 16th and 15th. There is a semi-circular awning with a "1500" above the entrance.

From the Oakland Airport:
Take the AirBART shuttle to the Coliseum/Oakland Airport stop. Take a Richmond train to the 12th Street Oakland City Center stop. Follow directions above.

Parking Options when visiting TransFair USA

Day or Evening Parking:

Rotunda Garage:
Access on 16th or 17th Street between San Pablo and Telegraph.

$2.00 each ½ hour
$4.00 per hour
$16 maximum

Credit card or cash pay station at the lobby at 16th and San Pablo.

(Please note: Sign says open 7am - 7pm Mon-Fri, but as of 3/2009, the garage is open until midnight because of hockey rink open across the street. After closing, you need an access card to get your car, so make sure and retrieve your car before midnight.)

Douglas Parking Lot:
Located at 17th and Broadway, on the same side of Broadway as the TransFair office.

$2.00 each 20 minutes
$15 maximum
$17 vans or trucks
$5.00 arriving AFTER 6pm, weekends and holidays "Park and Pay"

Cash only and need correct change. This is an uncovered lot; an attendant is available until 6pm. After 6pm, pay cash in the "Park and Pay" box.

Day Time Parking Only:

Franklin Plaza:
City of Oakland Garage
Franklin St. is a one way. Access garage past church on left side of road between 17th and 19th.

$2.25 per hour for 1st 2 hours
$3.00 per hour after first 2 hours
$14 maximum
$14 for lost ticket
$4.00 overnight

Open 7am-7pm, and you cannot access your car after closing. If you do not have the car by 7pm, they will keep it overnight, charge the overnight fee, and you cannot access until 7am opening.

Latham Square Garage:
Access on right, going down one way 16th Street between Telegraph and Frank H. Ogawa Plaza.

$2.50 each 20 minutes
$14 maximum

Open 6:30am - 6pm. Cannot access car after 6pm and cannot leave car overnight.
